This thermometer feels like nice quality, and the cover fits perfect. The one and only problem is, it takes forever to read the temperature. With it being very short I had to hold it and my hand got very hot. I also really like how it is disbwasher safe. I feel like I am truly sanitizing it. UPDATE I have now had this a few weeks and I am realizing that it never gets over 120, even when I know the meat is well done. I would no longer recommend at all. I am taking away my 4 star.
