I really wanted to like this mascara. I’ve switched the majority of my health and beauty products over to more natural and organic options, but finding a replacement for my mascara and eyeliner has proven to be a challenge! I chose this mascara not only because of the labeling of “organic” but also because of the price! So many organic mascaras are a little more pricey than what I wish to pay, but as I’ve learned so many times in life – you get what you pay for! PROs: - Lashes seem to be moisturized after use - The price is decent compared to others - Easy to remove (what is left at the end of the day anyway..) CONs: - It is messy! Not long after applying to my lashes, it smears and smudges all around my eye. I almost feel like you need something to set it after putting it on. I’ve been wearing mascara for years and years and have never once experienced this problem. - The formulation irritates my eyelids and actual eyeball. I do have sensitive skin and occasionally get eczema outbreaks, but I’ve never had this problem with the chemical-laden mascaras. - After having it for roughly 3 weeks, it has become weird and crumbly in the tube. I was in denial about the mascara in the beginning, I just wanted it to work so badly! So I kept trying to use it on and off over a 3 week period. However, I’ve finally come to the conclusion that it is horrible and after only 3 weeks – it is drying out. It is back to the drawing board for now.
