For a moderately expensive drone, I would think that the manufacturer would send something that works,, free of errors. However apparently that’s not the business practice at DJI as their mavi air 2 and Mavic mini drones seem to have some sort of error that prevents the buyer from registering the zone (error code 0xffe). When you search the internet for DJI customer support & this error code, you will find the DJI forum and find out this error dates back to 2019. Furthermore customer service confirmed that this has been a long running error and they CAN NOT fix it, you have to RETURN the drone and have it replaced. Unbelievable. While I salute the informative and kind customer service rep, I can’t believe that a company would let a k own issue go on this long without addressing it. What in the H is wrong with DJI for permitting this business practice...
