I have fed my cat this food for over a year, and I too am upset over the "people in the United States have to buy Orijen in the U.S. now" thing. I have seen a marked change in my cat, his coat used to be so shiny and he had tons of energy. But after feeding him a bag of food this last time, after I saw his coat go dull, the fact that he vomited at couple times after eating, and less energy. THAT is when I checked the bag and it said, "Made in the USA in our Kentucky kitchens!" What? No anouncement to tell us that they switched, we had to find out for OURSELVES. And we DID check the bag after our pets started having problems they did not have before eating this U.S. made Orijen. I emailed the company and was told that people in the United States HAVE to buy from the U.S. facility. NOT ME, I will ask sellers if the food is from Canada or not. If yes, I will buy it (I don't care about a higher price) then and if not, I won't. My cat's health is more important than a rule (How can they enforce that??) that I can't buy from Canada anymore. . If you tell me I can't do something, you best believe that I will find a way around it.
