This is not a workable playpen solution for active puppies. I bought this for my 10 lb. puppy, and he was able to jump around, move it, turn it upside down and do all sorts of crazy things in the playpen. I would often come back and find the playpen upside down and across the room from where I had originally placed it. The playpen would also collapse on itself with my puppy inside it from all of the jumping around he was doing, which I found hazardous. Lastly, I once made the mistake of putting his doggie bed and potty pads in the playpen, and came back to a gigantic mess. He had pooped on the potty pad and then jumped around, so the poop got all over the sides, bottom and ceiling of the playpen. Really disgusting and unsanitary. I had to hose the entire thing down. We tried this product in various ways over the course of 2 days and could not find a way to make it work for us, so I cannot recommend this product.
