These filters have either wheat and/or gluten ingredients in them somewhere along the manufacturing process. I have celiac disease and my husband is wheat sensitive and we both got extremely sick within days of using these. Once we stopped using them, no issues. For those who are unaware, its common to use wheat or wheat ingredients in things like coffee filters, tea bags, gum wrappers, etc because it is a cheap filler. I am a clinician and work with patients who have various GI disorders and this is a commonly missed source of exposure for celiac patients.
