The drivers for this adapter are absolutely horrible. My adapter did not work with Windows 10 as a plug and play bluetooth device, so I decided to go to TP-Link's website to get their drivers. The drivers are ancient. Even once you've installed the drivers, Windows recognizes the device as a bluetooth radio in device manager, but it doesn't allow you to make any bluetooth connections in settings because it claims the PC doesn't have bluetooth. The only way to make any bluetooth connections is through a new folder made under This PC, and the software only shows MAC Addresses, not even the names of devices! It's absolutely worthless.
