I love the design and how easy it is to use but something strange is happening. Everytime I make a cup of coffee it has a hint of smell and taste of plastic. I have used regular water about twenty times to flush out the taste, filtered water, new filters, and switched coffee brands but it is still there. I called the company and they sent me a new one and I cleaned it a few times and the taste was still there. I am going to try running hot water a few more times to see if that makes a different. I don't want to get rid of it since I love it but I want regular coffee not plastic. Uodate;: They sent me a new one and it works great but sending back the old one and paying for a box was a bit of a hassle. They would only allow UPS and not a local Amazon affiliate to take it back.
