Note that I am reviewing this item with the Sony XM4s, which are ~100 dollars cheaper, concurrently. There's a weird hiss when the noise canceling is on. The bass is nothing like the xm4s. However Bose has a more neutral bright sound profile. For ~320$, it doesn't have features like wear detection like the XM4s. It doesn't block/detect wind noise either. The only selling point is that it is, indeed, comfortable, hence the 2/5 stars.
