Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I don't normally write reveiws on products that I purchase through Amazon--- but this is an exception. This mattress is soft for the first few inches of the "cool gel memory foam".... Well that's great and all; until you sleep on it ALL night. As a disclaimer I'm 6' female and weigh 145'lbs (tall and skinny), and my husband is about 6'2" with an athletic build (I'm guess around 180-190'lbs). The first night we could not sleep AT ALL!! Once you lay on the bed for 5 min it feels like you are laying on a very very hard surface. Which led to my back, shoulders, and especially my hip hurting like nobodies business. So the best way I can describe this bed is a padded top overlying a concrete block. We are on day 7 (hoping and praying this would work out for us-- and so far no luck. I would also like to add we let the mattress "rise" for 48 hours before we slept in it. About the mattress it's self: first tip if your interested in it; if you have a garage let it air out the of fail chemical smell. The smell alone will give you a head ache. Also, the mattress does not at it appears on the advertisement. While it does look different from what is advertised... it still does not look bad by any means. My honest to goodness complain/disappointed in; would for sure have to be that it just wasn't what I was sooo excited to get. I spent what seemed like hours researching and reading reveiws and I have come to the conclusion that they are "paid reveiws". Many companies pay employees or professionals to give their reveiws high ratings. All I ask is please, please, please keep digging into those reveiws OTHER than the Amazon reveiws that are available. I personally will be sending this mattress back. I had an older pillow top mattress that was roughly 6 years old and I was being a brat and wanted a new bed... I now know that unless you try it out DONT buy it. The company itself: I'm finding it is a difficult task to get ahold of them in order to obtain information to return or exchange this mattress for a different one.
