Personally, I think this simulator is amazing and fun. I love going up on the beach. But with my 8 year old brother Vincent, it's a totally different story. He was really scared of all the fish. He cried when one came towards him. He freaked out and shut off his kindle. Also, I showed him how to go to the beach. But when he saw the little people, he freaked out more than he did when he saw the fish! He started sniffling and then ran all the way to his room and locked the door. A few days later, I convinced him to give it another try. He was doing fine actually. Swimming around the ocean. He avoids the beach though. He screamed! He said that the little people followed him from the beach and are charging at him! He finally gave up and deleted it. He still has nightmares to this day about little people chasing him in the ocean. If your child is afraid of these things, don't let them get this game.
