I don't write reviews but I had to review this product. My son's finger was nearly severed by the folding sides on this stool. The stool folds up conveniently and easily enough, and was fun for my son to use, but up and down each pivoting leg of the stool there are little holes that shut as the stool is opened. This is a terrible design flaw, these little holes open as the stool is shut, and shut as the stool is opened.These little holes are conveniently the size of a little finger tip and are located everywhere on this stool. So my young son was opening the stool, holding it by the leg and top. As it opened, his finger tip got caught in one of these little holes as it closed and his finger tip was nearly cut off. Its a sturdy and fun stool that my son loved to carry and use, but I would never allow a child to open this stool as it has a design flaw that should be fixed. This is simply not a safe product for a child to use, luckily my child's finger will be fine. Hopefully the next kid to get his finger nearly caught in this stool will not be severely injured. I've attached a picture with my husband's finger as a reference on the stool to the holes that close when the stool is opened.
