Strange permissions make me nervous...
For an app that is little more than gathered internet information, this app has some very "exotic" permission requests. For instance I can't imagine why it would need to access the list of accounts in the Account service or why it would install "push notification" code. (com.Google.android.c2dm.receive) Push notifications are for when they want to access a device without having to open the application that installed that interesting piece of code into your device. There are a few reasons for that. Either so they can send ads without the application being open that they can put in your notification bar. Or so they can collect information from your device without the application being open...or to send silent instructions to your device. Whatever their reasons? Developers that rely on lifting information from other websites to create an app that is quite possibly nothing more than the proverbial Trojan horse should be approached with caution. I have removed it...there are better cooking apps that aren't so suspicious...
