This pet bed looks exactly like the picture. The material is soft with a nice thickness and, the foam padding is well made and sturdy, not flimsy and cheap. When I unpacked the bed, I thought, “This is a 5 star bed”. Unfortunately the ‘breaks were hit’ when I attempted to insert the foam padding. The top piece of the zipper (the little piece that you hold to move the zipper up and down), crumbled in my hand when I held it … not pulled … held. It literally crumbled into 3 pieces! I thought I could put it back together but after taking a closer look, it was obvious that pieces were missing – which explained why it fell apart. I then tried to pull the zipper with my hand (need to unzip to insert the padding), but the zipper would not budge … not one inch. I then tried long nose pillars but I still could not get the zipper to move. Because of this issue, I decided to check the ‘low rated reviews’ and low and behold, there are other buyers who have experienced the same dysfunctional zipper issue! Come on manufactures!! You have to get this right. The zipper is needed to assemble the bed and to be able to remove the fabric for cleaning. Back to my prior statement … a beautiful bed with great fabric, but it is totally useless without a functioning zipper!!
