BEWARE....DO NOT TRUST THE "BEST SELLER" FLAG. THIS UNIT IS JUNK BY COMPARISON.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE DECIDING ON WHAT TO BUY (SEE MY LAST COMMENT LINES). Bought this for my father in-law (6' tall and 215 lb.)a few months ago. Now that it's arrived and in use, we have noticed several problems with this unit. 1st problem) Is the handle height. My father-in-law is 6' tall and with the handle height adjustments at full extension, he still has to hunch over (not good) to use this unit. 2nd problem) Is the interior seating width. My father-in-law is not fat, but he is 6' and weighs 215 lb. This units seat width is only 15" and rubs his sides while sitting in the seat (too narrow). 3rd problem) Is the bench seat itself. Not only is it a narrow 15" wide, but it has virtually no padding and is mounted on a very thin & cheap support board. My father-in-law has only had this unit for 3 months now and already the seat board is folding over the support bar (see photo-seat hangs over front support bar by 3"-not a good design) in the front and now needs to be replaced. Manufacture states this unit is good for up to a 300 lb. person, but I certainly would not recommend that anyone over 150 lb. and over 5'6" buy this unit as you too will find yourself with the above mentioned problems. Several of the reviews I read rated this as a good unit, I disagree now that we've had it for a while. SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT UNITS IN A STORE AND CHECKED OUT THE MAIN FEATURES VERY CLOSELY FOR QUALITY AND OVERALL DIMENSIONS BEFORE MAKING A BUYING DECISION. NOW THAT I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS ONE, I AM NOW BUYING A BETTER UNIT. RECOMMEND YOU LOOK AT UNITS THAT HANDLE HEIGHT ADJUSTS UP TO 39", WIDER SEAT 20", HEAVY SEAT BOARD WITH MORE PADDING, USER WEIGHT RATING FOR UP TO 400 TO 500 LB.
