This blender was terrific until it started to leak. And now is completely useless, since it leaks all the time, esp in smoothie mode. The replacement parts are never available. This was a complete waste of money, should have bought myself something more expensive without all the gasket and parts. I really wanted a glass jar and am a big fan of the traditional oster blender which i remember lasted forever. And i should add, i watched all the youtube videos out there about the correct positioning of the gasket and blade and reproduced the steps, with no change in the results. I wish they would stock up on the replacement parts, because i would really like to try it with a new gasket and see if that fixes the situation. Its an inexpensive part but one that i am unable to get my hands on and this has made the blender unusable
