Wow, shame on me! I often do a good deal of reading-up on my Amazon purchases before I make them. I was searching for a "cool looking" alarm clock for a child. This one fit the bill--cool shape, and color, and interesting functions that display by rotating the clock. And FIVE STARS! Well, I read the description to the right, and really banked on those five stars because I was in a hurry. I place my order. Well, not only did this item take an extra week to arrive (even though I have Amazon prime and it was Amazon prime eligible) but I was shocked to learn that this clock is solely battery operated and it has no snooze. The alarm sounds for one minute. Period. No changing that. My initial reaction was how could a clock like this get five stars? Well, apparently most of the reviews were made by people who got the item for free in turn for their review. Ok now it all adds up. The more comfortable I get with Amazon the more it reminds me that you have to keep on your toes.
