MUST READ IF YOU'RE THINKING OF GETTING THIS COLLAR! I am giving a rating of 1 star for this collar system so that people will notice the review and see its flaws. There are 3 big problems I see with this collar that anyone trying to choose the correct training collar should know about. Please read this! 1) The charger plug for the receiver box is hidden behind the collar, so you need to take off the collar every time you need to charge the collars because where you plug the charger cable into the charger plug is located on the end of the receiver box underneath the collar. This is a huge pain to remove the collar from the receiver box each and every time you need to charge them. 2) The second problem I observed with this collar is the remote controller. In order to change the setting from vibrate to shock to sound, you have to push the mode button in order to change back and forth. This is not a good set up. The remote controller will also go into sleep mode after few minutes. To wake up the remote controller, you need to push and hold the mode button for few seconds before you can correct your dog. With this set-up, your dog will end up getting corrected at the wrong time, corrected with the wrong mode or end of not being corrected at all if you push the button a few seconds too late. As we all know, correcting the dog at the right time is the key to training! 3) The plastic quality of the remote controller and receiver box is very cheap. The remote controller feels like it will break every time you push the buttons. If you look through Amazon, you will find different brands available but they all have the same exact remote controller and receiver box design just like this collar with different prices. This collar is obviously a cheap Chinese knockoff collar made in China. I wish I would have known the flaws of this product as I wouldn't have ordered them in the first place. I will be returning these collars and plan to invest in a much better quality system and a more user friendly remote controller and receiver box.
