Not enough character development
At the end of the book I still could not picture any of the central characters. Like what did Delphine look like? One of the things I usually love about a KA book is her painting the picture of her characters and there habitats. She did not do that here at all.
There was no figuring out who done it because the character wasnt introduced until so late in the book. There was far too much focus on the sex games around town. This has become a trend in KA's books. She can't seem to write a book anymore that doesn't give at least a nod to BDSM or such. Her earlier books Colorado Mountain, Burg, Chicks, etc were light years better than anything she has put out recently. This is probably the last of her books I will buy. Makes me sad. I so very much loved everything she wrote until about 3 years ago.
