This is NOT a good rear facing car seat... Front facing it's perfect, but not for rear facing car seat buyers. We have a 2009 Toyota Camry, our baby is 1 year old and about 17lbs. We have a rear facing car seat now, but my wife insisted that she wanted a new one..okay. I went online, read reviews, clicked on 4 stars and above, all this all-in-one Graco came up. I paid for it, it arrived, I read the instructions for rear facing installation and was shocked how unsecure the seat installed. The idea is that once you install a car seat, it should NOT move in any direction 1" or less. My old car seat is practically unmovable. The base for this Graco car seat (installed for rear facing) is too far away from the back of the seat, and worse the latches are literally swimming when I try to move the seat side to side; so with very little effort, I was able to flip this car seat forward. If you are in the market for a great front facing car seat, this is really great, but if you have a new born, FORGET IT... get something else.
