My GI doctor told me to get on a probiotic with a prebiotic. He said it didn’t matter which one. Cheapest will do as well as the most expensive and not to worry about the ones labeled for seniors - that is just a marketing ploy. I was delighted to see this. I like the brand. BUT after about 6 days being on this one I broke out in a rash on my upper arms/shoulders and chest. It was very weird. After 3 days I went to urgent care. That doctor didn’t know what my rash was - she had never seen anything like it. So I left kinda perplexed. What do I do? It was a starting to be a big rash and each day it was getting bigger. I remember reading a 1 star review where someone had said they had a rash. This led me to read the side effects for this brand. Plain as day side effects list rash and itching. So I got off this drug. It immediately starts going away. I’m on day 6 of getting off this brand and it’s much better - not gone yet but will be in the next few days...hopefully. So read the side effects. As a probiotic I didn’t see much improvement in my gut issues but maybe a little. Not enough to justify the rash tho.
