Beyond the desecration of what were once such strong supporting characters, I just cannot believe that Sookie has become what she is now. This shell of a person who accepts whatever she can get. There was no Happily Ever After for her. There was no love for her. In the end, Charlaine gave up on Sookie and seemingly decided that her story should end in what is essentially a giant failure.
