I'm sending these back. The are certainly not 1/2" thick which makes all the difference when you need the extra thickness. I ordered a pink one and purple one, unwrapped the pink and it has two tiny little splits in the material which will I'm sure get bigger as used. Dissapointed with these. I added a photo of my sister in laws 1/2" mat compared to the reehut 1/2" matt.
