Beautiful styling and good performance - for 18 months, when the motor burned out, complete with smoke. While we only ran it for about 30 seconds at a time, I recall it had a ridiculously short duty cycle, with a 5 minute cool down requirement. Sounds like marginal design at best. Caveat emptor! Replaced it with a Baratza Encore, which isn't as flashy but is much better built, and has motor thermal protection.
