I was an English major in college, AND I speak a little French and a teeny bit of Spanish. In other words, I have an extensive vocabulary. So I expected to LOVE this game... the gimmick with the puzzles/pics and their description is a terrific incentive and bonus. (The quotes are kinda boring and take forever to fill in; after the first several, I didn't usually bother trying to finish.) BUT -- I'm out of TIME/MONEY/PATIENCE!! At level *4924*, I GIVE UP!! I'll be UNINSTALLING after this review. At $30 each (for the best deal, once you hit a certain level), purchasing the piggy bank becomes financially prohibitive, but watching videos and filling out surveys takes FOREVER to earn MINIMAL coins for hints -- and those hints are NECESSARY. Some of the words are RIDICULOUS: archaic words that haven't been used in more than a century, or words specific to a certain language (the South African word for a fish with barbels?! 🙄), or words used almost exclusively by physicits... FRUSTRATING doesn't begin to cover it!! It's unfortunate, because the photo puzzles - when I spent the time or money to complete them - were a fascinating glimpse at other places, plants and animals. HOWEVER, the puzzles must be completed within a certain time frame or they expire. If you don't have the time or $$ to spend, the main incentive for playing THIS particular word game is lost.
