I loved this humidifier at first and a splurged with the cost of it. I love the top fill design and that it has a silent night mode. I cleaned the part you fill with water every week with vinegar as recommended. However, a few months after purchase I noticed some pinkish slime on my humidifier so I inspected the rest of the machine more closely and saw that in the inner parts there was pink slime mold something that was all over inside the hard to reach places inside! Particularly in the mist tube which is IMPOSSIBLE to take apart. I soaked it overnight and tried and failed to scrub the inside with a toothbrush but I couldn’t clean it all. HORRIBLE DESIGN for cleaning. Catch 22 because it’s impossible to open but very dangerous to continue running if that mold is growing inside. I hope there aren’t other people who are continuing to run this humidifier without noticing the dangerous mold growing inside like I did. DO NOT BUY. Loved everything else but the inability to clean this thing is NOT WORTH IT. So I’m giving it a one star review.
