I was really excited to get this product because, as far as I can tell, it is the only hot air brush on the market with such a large brush head. I bought it while visiting family and spent well more than Amazon sells it for so I could have it right away. It's a very nice appliance with one important exception, it is seriously underpowered at 500 watts. My Jilbere Hot Air Brush is 1000 watts and works great with the exception of the small diameter brush head. If only the John Frieda brush had increased the wattage, I would keep this and be a happy owner. Until then, it takes too long to dry my hair, even from damp, and with the extended exposure to heat, it will likely cause excessive damage as well.
