Disappointed!
Very disappointing pasta pan. After the very first use, - making pasta, the bottom of the pan pitted. After attempting to remove the stains, I used my portable microscope, and sure enough, the metal had pitted. This seems to be the most common flaw with most Chinese made cookware, obviously they are using inferior grade "stainless" steel. This is the result of letting the bean counters run companies for the benefit of their shareholders, not their customers. When I buy a premium quality pan for 30+ dollars, I expect them to use high grade materials, and beta-test their products as part of their QC. Savings 40 cents off the steel that goes into one pan may sound good at the budget meeting, but when the product is no longer quality, you may gain profit on the one sale, but I will never purchase another one of your products again, so the company loses all the future purchases I would have made, if the quality was there. I don't even bother to return products like this, as my time is more valuable than the time it takes to return it, etc. I just don't buy that brand again.
In addition to the cheap steel, there are even more flaws, such as the rounded handle, which is slippery, and tends to let the pan roll to the side when your picking it up, especially when it's full of boiling water, - really bad design. Also, the top fits poorly, and leaves rubbing marks on the top and the pan; and the metal edges on the top retain water in the groove, which is about impossible to clean out, even with paper towels. Poorly made with inferior materials. I used it for about two weeks and gave it to a neighbor. JUNK!
