I was surprised by the quality, its similar to a chair I sat in at a large upscale furniture store for over $1,200. With the warranty, this chair was about half price. My father in law is very happy. EDIT:11.22.2014 the chair has broken. Similar to other users. My in law is less than 130lbs. Chair manufacturer wanted nothing to do with helping. I purchased the extended warranty. Good thing.
