These ice cube trays leaving a filmy residue when ice is dropped into a glass of clean water. I tested with a different Ice Cube from a traditional ice cube tray and did not get the film. I also noticed that the brand name is not branded on this item which tells me that it is a cheaply made outsourced copy. Might be a coincidence but I used the Ice Cube's yesterday all day drinking water not realizing this and my kidneys are hurting today. Used bottled water every time, and cleaned the silicone trays before use. There is a rainbow tinted oil substance after I noticed this on the silicone so maybe it's some sort of non-stick substance.
