I ordered these towels because the color suited my kitchen. They are attractive towels. However they are completely non-absorbent! Water just beads up on them and doesn't sink in. I washed them, hoping that that would aid in absorbency. It did not. Finally, I bought some new Turkish cotton towels from Sur La Table that absorb instantaneously. That's the point of a kitchen towel, isn't it? I'll never buy this brand again.
