I bought this for use in a classroom woodshop club. Used it once a week for about 9 months until one day, in the middle of clean up, it died. I hadn't even filled up the bag it came with yet. I called the company (Alton Industries) who said that since I purchased it through Amazon, that Amazon had to be the ones to apply for the warranty refund/replace. Amazon said to talk to the manufacturer. I just took the loss and decided to leave this review instead. Buyer beware! It is an okay vacuum that won't last and you won't have any support when it fails.
