Device may be fine - hardware dirt cheap
Bought this today as another layer of home security. It may actually work; but if it does it won't be because it came with quality mounting hardware. The screws easily stripped. The drill bit, being round, did not properly stay secured in the drill and I had to break it off and drill another hole. Considering how much it costs, it wouldn't hurt the manufacturer to go with higher quality mounting hardware. I guess I am lucky I only paid $60, because I saw it for as much as $120. It is worth every bit of about $20 max.....
