Not even worth the 99 cents
Boring and repetitious. Shallow characters and hackneyed story line. And the grammar is simply atrocious. Learn the language for god's sake. "I" is the subject of a verb, not the object. "Me" is the object of verbs and prepositions. I counted at least 10 times they used "June and I" when it should have been "June and me" or "me and June." Here's a helpful trick: drop the other name and see if it still sounds right. You would never say "the boulder conceals I" or "the logs safeguard I" (and why do need to say both in the same paragraph?) or "one pointed at I". If it sounds right to say "the boulder conceals me" then it is proper to say "the boulder conceals June and me."
Of the 22 occurrences of "June and I" only 10 are correct. And this is not the only grammatical blunder. Mismatched tenses and cases and run-on sentences galore. I will not be buying book 2.
