Terrible Breakout! Low Quality Ingredients, 100% Marketing, 0% Positive Results For Me
Like other reviewers with similiar experience, my skin totally broke out! I have relatively good skin, and wanted to add retinoids to into my regimen. I purchased this product at full price, on my own. I wanted to love these products. After a lot of researching reviews, I ordered 2 products: Retinol Surge Moisturizer and Super 6 serum. Thousands of positive reviews, affordable price, good packaging and great natural ingredients, right? Wrong! This product broke my face out horrendously in clusters of tiny white cysts! I am a huge fan of trying out latest skincare products, and wanted to believe there was an affordable brand out there for women to trust! Not so. I had to see my dermatologist. She recommended I immediately stop using these BM products because this is NOT a result of "purging." She said I need to make sure the retinoids I use are high quality, and "time-release" products because these ingredients are very unstable, and to understand what type of Vitamin C is being used. My skin doctor also advised that previously, beauty and skincare companies had to go through multiple barriers to penetrate the market due to standards, testing and regulations, but with the growth of e-commerce, Internet reviews and direct marketing it's made it easier for boutique companies who have zero formal education in skincare and cosmetic chemistry to sell consumers their products. Body Merry gives the impression of healthy, natural organic ingredients, but isn't actually so. Unstable ingredients, poor quality leaving my face bumpy with cysts. Will never recommend this to any of my friends! I realize now after looking at other reviewers who had reactions that their skin breakout looks very similar to mine.
