Fantastic sound quality. Unfortunately, the right speaker stopped working a few months after purchase, and I'm still waiting to receive a shipping box from KEF America for the RMA two weeks later. They aren't answering their e-mail. I'm hoping that a negative review might get some attention. Is anyone else the owner of a $2200 desk ornament? [edit: Aug 22]: Over a month later, still waiting for working speakers. It took 2+ weeks to receive a shipping box from KEF USA. Now they've had my broken speakers for over a week, and I am still waiting for notification that they have started the repair, though they warned of a backlog. Buyer beware. :( [edit: Aug 30]: Replacement set from KEF arrived today, but the right speaker is faulty. It emits a flabby rattly static noise during bass hits. See attached video. I've asked for another RMA. I just can't seem to win with these. :( [edit: Jan 2020]: The working replacement set that I (finally) received from KEF died 1-2 years later. The left speaker began to turn itself off during play, and eventually stopped turning on at all. KEF (fortunately) agreed to repair even though it was out of warranty. The return and repair process took about two months, but the repair seems to have been unsuccessful--the left speaker does not turn on. At this point I would recommend buying the cheaper / smaller LS-X and a subwoofer instead. But save your shipping box for returns and consider an extended warranty.
