According to the material data sheet, magnesium citrate has a solubility in water of about 20 g per 100 mL. Upon receiving the material, I attempted to dissolve 17.45 g in 10 oz of water (300 mL). Those who have undergone a colonoscopy will understand the reason for this precise concentration. I was shocked to see, that the powder did not dissolve. To satisfy my curiosity, I tried using boiling water, but even there the material just precipitated to the bottom of the jar. You can see in the picture attached to this review. Now, I am lost for words. I have a reasonable evidence that this material is not, in fact, magnesium citrate. I am disappointed and kindly request a statement by the supplier/manufacturer and expect to be able to refund the material with a full refund of the purchase price.
