Bought this for my wife who has MS and is having a lot of neck pain hoping it would cushion our somewhat firm mattress. It looks like a light quilt you would use in the summer when you have the air conditioning on! I am a contractor, I know how to measure and this "mattress topper" is not 2" it's more like 1/2" at best on the areas that there is supposed to be cushioning. I'm not one to complain or return things but I am giving this serious consideration. I could put a nice winter quilt under my sheets and get more cushion than this thing. This is a disappointing and somewhat frustrating purchase as it did nothing to help my wife who suffers enough already.
