WARNING: This product is hazardous and could actually injure you if you buy it. I purchased this product with my Food Saver Vacuum sealer in June of last year so it's not even a year old. Today as I was preparing supper I decided to use it to marinade some Pork Chops. As was my custom I placed the marinade in with the pork chops and then proceeded to vacuum it down with the Food Saver. I had done perhaps 4 cycles and as I was standing in front of it, FoodSaver Quick Marinator EXPLODED. Now some people might say, "she must be embellishing the story" and the truth is that I've understated the story rather than embellish. The FoodSaver Quick Marinator exploded into so many pieces it took both my husband and I several hours to clean up the mess in the kitchen. I was marinating pork chops with a marinade that has allot of mustard and vinegar in it and it spattered it everywhere, it was all over my cabinets, the floors, walls and the ceiling. One piece of the plastic actually embedded itself into the sheetrock. If it had hit me it would have caused serious physical damage. Luckily all I'm now left with is hiring someone to come in and repaint my kitchen as there are now mustard stains all the walls and the ceiling. All I can say is that I don't want anyone to get hurt which is why I'm posting. I rarely post a review but when one is actually dangerous I feel I have and obligation to post. The pictures show the big pieces that are left, you decide is that what you want around your family?????
