I bought this to hang up posters and postcards in a place that I was renting because I didn't want to ruin the paint. It does its job because nothing came ever loose. Now that I'm moving, I started to take down my stuff and ran into quite a few issues. First it was extremely difficult to remove the putty from both my posters and wall. Pulling my posters off left behind tons of residue that I had to painstakingly try and peel off. Second it left behind blue oily-looking spots that don't come off. This is a huge disappointment as the whole point of using this was that I didn't want to ruin the walls but it seems I'll have to paint over them regardless.
