★★☆☆☆
Creative yet boring
1) Technically, the book is well-written - a very pleasant reprieve from the hundreds of distracting errors in many free ebooks! 2) The plot is fairly unique, and at FIRST it seems interesting as we're offered a close look at death and becoming a ghost. If only the focus had remained there... Those are 2 stars. Now for the 3 missing ones: 3) Nowhere in the synopsis is it mentioned that this is, for the most part, a Christian novel. A ghost story is advertised, but what's delivered is more theological than supernatural. 4) The repetition. This story could be shortened by half without losing anything. Well, except a lot of redundancy. 5) Characters! Where are they? It needs another character (or 5) to add some depth and round out a very flat environment.
