Buyer beware! I purchased this because of the greenguard certification but after delivery I looked at the mattress tag and the filling of the mattress is 90% polyurethane! I tried to contact simmons manufacturing but they deferred me to Delta who makes their children's products. I could not talk to anyone there and just got an answering machine, although it was within the business hours listed on the answering machine. For this reason, I WOULD NOT purchase or keep this mattress. I believe the greenguard certification is related to the fire retardant material and NOT the entire mattress. If I am wrong, hopefully someone else out there can correct me. For me and my children, I will not have them spend 12-18 hours a day sleeping and breathing on a mattress with potential toxic gasses.
