★★☆☆☆
It's OK - which was my expectation - Until using it for 2 weeks
I took a risk buying this chair without any reviews, and so far the risk was definitely worth it.
First things first, this chair is comfortable and fits well within my work space. The design aesthetic is pretty good too. My favorite feature is how far back it reclines. Also, I've never had a desk chair with a head rest but it is a very welcomed feature, especially when reclining.
The quality is adequate. You can tell it's a $240 chair compared to say, herman miller for example, but with a much smaller price tag. Don't get me wrong here, even though the quality does not compare to more expensive chairs, it's still really nice.
Overall I am happy with the comfort and design. I just spent my first day with around 10 hours in the chair and I can say it made a big difference on my back when I was done working. Also, if you like to spin in chairs, this chair might be the spin master.
*****Update: Two weeks later*****
After all the risk was not worth it. What was 4 stars out of the box, has now been adjusted to two stars to reflect the quickly degrading changes in the chair quality. Let me explain.
Just to give you an idea, I weigh 145lb. When I sit in the chair, it has developed a wobble where the chair cushion sits on top of the lift mechanism (not the base with wheels). So if I move my body weight horizontally, you can feel the base of the cushion shift depending which side of the cushion my body weight is on. If I am move back and forth the chair wobbles from side to side.
The head rest which was decently solid when new, has become loose and also moves laterally depending on the pressure when leaning backwards on the chair.
And finally, the lumbar support has popped out of the back of the chair multiple times and I have had spend about 10 minutes each time trying to pop it back into place again.
Overall, is it comfortable? Yes. Does it do it's job? Yes. But it does have faults.
