I bought these to block the noise of a snoring spouse. They work fantastic, comfortable enough to lay on my side; I do wish they had a volume control. UPDATE: Shortly after purchasing my second pair (as a backup) my first pair stopped working. Good thing I had a backup pair right? Well, after opening the new ones I noticed that they changed the screen that protects the speaker from metal to plastic. I wondered, why did they give me a little sheet of "stickers"? Well, now I know. Those plastic screens fall off and can sometimes end up in your ear. Have you ever tried removing a small sticker from inside your ear? Let me tell you it is not fun or easy. I guess I will be looking for something a little more substantial next time. I have included two photos, one showing my original​ pair that stopped working and the new pair that lost the plastic sticker screen.
