In an attempt to be green and more healthy, I purchased several of these bottles as well as a Berkey Water Filtration System. I have been using both since May with much satisfaction. However, I do have some concern about the quality of the MIU COLOR bottles. Recently, while drinking out of a bottle, the bottom "fell off". Unlike another reviewer posted, I had not overfilled the bottle. The bottles are always hand washed and never put through the dishwasher. At more than ten dollars a bottle, I would hope they are expected to last more than two months. Up to now it has only been one bottle that failed, but I will post an update if any additional fail. If it were not for the incident described above, these bottles would be ideal. I tried both the 12 and 18.5 oz. and found the 12 oz to be more to my liking because of the weight when full, size (it fits very nicely in the hand), and the smaller sized bottle allows plenty of time to drink the entire amount of water while still cold. The 18.5 is great for those "really thirsty" times, but for normal "day to day operations" the 12oz, works best for me. I bought all colors except the grey and found the pink to appear slightly dingy. The blue and black look great and require little care. Because I bought these in batches, I received different sized caps. Some are shorter than the others by about 1/2 cm. The larger caps seem to fit better. The two cleaning brushes that come with each bottle are a nice addition. Each is a solid, flexible piece of foam and will not last more than six months, but they are great to have out-of-the-box. I hope the one broken bottle is a fluke, because I really like these, especially considering the benefits of using glass instead of plastic, but if these continue to break I will have to look for another option. Best regrads, MIU COLOR Customer Service Team Although, I truly admire their attention to customer feedback and concern for continually trying to make a better product, I do not appreciate in order for them to "do the right thing" and refund the cost of a faulty product, they tie it to the removal of an honest review. It makes me wonder how many other times these bottles have failed and someone has tried to inform the buying public, only to remove the review so as to get their money returned. Perhaps had I seen the true number of times these bottles had failed I wouldn't have bought them in the first place. Only speculation at this point, but a thought that might, and hopefully, will provide benefit and information to the next customer. UPDATE #2 I have to change my rating from three stars to one due to another bottle failing. This time I just lifted the bottle off a flat surface (no impact, just lifted it up) and the bottom fell off. This break was not as clean as the first and I've included a picture (has pink sleeve). I am very disappointed in this product. I really liked the bottles and used them every day. I have a few more left, but at this point am waiting for each to fail. I would not recommend purchasing these bottles, especially considering the price and the rate of failure.
