You get about 14 months of infrequent use out of it before it dies. I only use it every couple weeks to a month. While it works it's great but this is the second one I've had and they seem to die around the 12-14th month. At most I'm getting 28+/- uses out of it and I think it's more on the order of 15-20 uses. At $10 it's not a horrible value but there's no reason they can't make it last longer than that. I'm going to try the manual route since the motor seems to be what is failing.
