I am a clinician. I wanted a device to measure my blood pressure conveniently on a regular basis. This device does not meet the requirement. It is so inaccurate as to be dangerous. It underestimates blood pressure by 10-30 mmHg. I became suspicious with constant low readings in different body and arm positions and took out my clinical sphygmomanometer and we compared it multiple times. Every single instance was under no matter what position I put the wrist cuff in. That means if it says your diastolic (lower number) is 80 it could be as high as 100 - a clinically dangerous level and one requiring attention and potentially treatment. The same is true for the systolic - so if it reads 120 it could actually be as high as 150. In both cases, this is bad news as it misleads people into thinking they have normal blood pressure when in fact they may have hypertension (high blood pressure). If you have hypertension it should b treated and managed as a matter of urgency - it is a silent killer that can be effectively treated but you have to know you have hypertension and be able to accurately monitor it to do that. This device is not suitable for any clinical application of measuring blood pressure
