I've been excitedly waiting for this product. Now that it's here I hate it. This is not a SMART DEVICE... it literally is only good for a motion sensor only, $120 light fixture; $60 to install a caseta light switch/pico remote (which you can't use because the sensor over rides it) and $60 for the motion sensor. If you're looking for a motion sensing light switch for $120, great. If you are looking for a smart device, to connect to your smart home and trigger scenes and automate your house; THIS IS NOT IT. The motion sensor seems amazing! VERY sensitive if you set it as such; also good options to adjust the sensor. Problems: The App only allows the sensor to connect this device to one room. So I can't turn on the hallway and living room lights unless both lights are controlled together under the same room in the app. The App does not allow the sensor to start App 'scenes'; this would have allowed control of multiple lights. The App does not allow you to set rules... IE if motion is detected after midnight, turn bathroom light to 5% for 15min. The App DOES allow the sensor to control what happens when motion is sensed and when the sensor determines a room is vacant (see photo). However, this means the motion sensor WILL OVERRIDE your lights. So if you have this connected to your bathroom lights to turn on to 5% for a night light in the middle of the night... it will also turn your lights down to 5% in the middle of the day. Its a well built piece of equipment but unfortunately its for the 90s and not for smart houses in the new millennium. I'm HOPING lutron expands the devices functionality in the app in the future, but for now this is $120 for a motion sensing lamp (lamp not included). IE: If motion, start scene 'Y' If vacancy, return lights to original setting If motion and time=X, then turn lights to 'X' If motion, then turn lights x, y, z to 'X'
