Plastic parts grinded and fell into food over time
At first I loved this so much, then after several times of using it, I realized the plastic part (the hole) in the center of the lid that fits around the stem which turns in the center of bowls wore off, meaning the plastic was grinded off by the friction when the machine was running, and this plastic fell directly into the food that we ate!!! This is very unsafe! I bought 2 sets when they were more expensive and they were not used that much. A waste of my money! Then I thought I would try another time buying a Ninja bender from the local store, because the blender did not have the stem that turned in the center by the power from the top (the power was at the base on this one), only to find a piece of broken plastic fell off from the box before any use at all. I returned that one. Needless to say, I will never buy Ninja Food Processor again. Cheap plastic. I have a small Oster food processor that works similarly, with the stem in the center turning while in use, and the power is at the top of the lid, and never had problems with any plastic wearing off. Oster also has another cover underneath this turning part to protect anything that could fall into the food.
