This is my third OtterBox Commuter case in a row (iPhone 5c and SE original) which I bought for my new SE (2nd Gen). This is the slickest looking Commuter case I've had, it fits great, and is exactly what I expected from a Commuter case, EXCEPT that the Apple logo does not line up on the back! (See attached picture.) It appears to me that OtterBox just changed their marketing on this case (which also fits the iPhone 7 & 8 as the New SE uses the same frame), without actually testing it on the SE. Sure, this is just a cosmetic issue, but for the price - and since OtterBox is advertising this as the correct Commuter case for the New SE - I would expect it to line up or at least be told about this. As I started this review, the case looks fantastic, seems as thin yet durable as possible, and is my favorite Commuter case so far - except for the logo not lining up. Some said that the case is slippery - I don't see this as an issue as this is exactly what a Commuter Case is: a rubbery case inside covered by a hard plastic case. Sure, the hard plastic is slippery, the the inside rubber case is perfect for gripping and actually on the outside (without the hard case covering it) in all of the right places. So I don't see this as being slippery at all for a Commuter Case. Other reviews also complained about the plastic cover that goes over the port. When I don't have a cover on my phone, it gets too much dust in the port and causes it to not charge, so this is exactly why I want the port cover. This port cover is by far the best design of all the other Commuter Cases I have and seems close to perfect. If you don't want the cover, you could easily cut it off, but to me this is one of the key features of the Commuter Case and the cover is very well done on this case. I would absolutely being giving this review 5 stars if it weren't for the misalignment of the logo on the back. I know it is just cosmetic, but the advertising here on Amazon implied this case was for the SE and I don't see that being true. Sure, it works, but it clearly wasn't designed for the SE (2nd Gen). I'm hoping OtterBox reaches out to resolve this and, if they do, I would upgrade my review if a replacement with the correct placement for the logo is given to me. Again, I believe that the OtterBox Commuter case is the best out there, but this case clearly wasn't designed for the new iPhone SE (Gen 2) like the advertisement said. It works, but it isn't designed for it and the ad was misleading.
